The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga joined the reflection event on the synergies between the tourism, commerce, and services sectors, which took place at the Conímbriga Hotel do Paço.
The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) was one of the partner entities in the realisation of the event "Tourism, Commerce and Services – Together for Success". The initiative, organised in the format of a dinner followed by a conference, took place on the 12th of June, at the Conímbriga Hotel do Paço, gathering businesspeople, leaders, and institutional representatives.
The conference aimed to create a space for analysis regarding the synergies of these sectors and their strategic articulation in the current socioeconomic landscape. The moment of reflection and sharing on the challenges and opportunities focused on the national economy, debating business competitiveness and cooperation among various economic agents. The session featured interventions by Pedro Machado, Secretary of State for Tourism, Commerce, and Services; Luís Lourenço, Inspector-General of ASAE; and Carlos Moura, President of AHRESP.
Through its institutional involvement in this initiative, ISMT reinforces its connection between academia, the business fabric, and public entities. The higher education institution reaffirms, in this way, its active role in contributing to the construction of responses and strategies directed towards sustainable and competitive development.
