Presentation Conference of the Miranda Family Lab Project

The Casa Amarela - Escola de Talentos, in Miranda do Corvo, will host the presentation conference of the Miranda Family Lab project on the 23rd of June 2026, starting at 10:00 am. This initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Miranda do Corvo, consists of a territorial public policy laboratory designed to place families at the centre of the local development and territorial cohesion strategy.

The event is supported by the Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT), the Catholic University of Portugal, the University of Coimbra, the Polytechnic Institute of Coimbra, and CESOP – the Centre for Polling and Opinion Studies of the Catholic University of Portugal. The session will bring together various participants, including the student community, academics, and institutional representatives, for a structured analysis of the socioeconomic challenges in the region.

Throughout the day, the programme will focus on debating themes such as the birth rate, territorial competitiveness, education, community, and social innovation in small and medium-sized territories. The central objective of the conference is to promote discussion on the creation of strategies and effective responses to demographic and social needs.
