Psychotherapeutic Intervention Department - (DIP)

Content

The Department of Psychotherapeutic Intervention (DIP) of the Miguel Torga Higher Institute (ISMT) is an organic subunit that coordinates the work developed by the different psychotherapeutic support structures through systematic and coherent integration, capitalizing on the diversity they offer.

DIP promotes theoretical and practical scientific research activities, as well as training, counseling, and psychosocial intervention activities for the ISMT community and the general population. It is composed of academic staff, interns, and volunteer psychologists, and is coordinated by a faculty member with extensive clinical experience, Professor Marina Cunha, PhD.

The work promoted by DIP is carried out in coordination with the Coordination of the 2nd Cycle (Master’s Degree) in Clinical Psychology and with the Research & Development Department, in order to ensure a structured and coherent strategic action plan at ISMT in general, and in the field of Clinical Psychology in particular.
