The study's conclusions allow us to understand the variations in tolerance between men and women regarding infidelity without physical involvement. The analysis focuses on the dynamics of forgiveness within couples and the impact of relational dissatisfaction, also refuting the idea that the frequent use of social media promotes greater permissiveness towards emotional infidelity. This work reinforces ISMT's commitment to scientific production and its impact on the community.
