ISMT partners in the 6th edition of the Learning Innovation Summit 2026 in Coimbra

Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) has joined as a partner in the 6th edition of the Learning Innovation Summit 2026, an event organised by ATEC in conjunction with AIRC (Informatics Association of the Central Region) and GO Coimbra (Coimbra iParque). The initiative takes place on 7 November 2026, between 10:00 and 17:30, at the iParque facilities in Coimbra. The opening session will feature an address by Humberto Oliveira, Vice-President of the Board of Directors of ISMT.

Under the theme ‘The New Era of Pedagogical Discoveries’, the colloquium is aimed at teaching staff, trainers, training technicians, and education professionals, as well as the student community with an interest in the field. The objective is to analyse trends, methodologies, and tools applied to teaching and learning processes, structuring the proceedings into two distinct periods throughout the day.

During the morning period, plenary sessions and panels will be dedicated to the analysis of active methodologies, digital technologies with pedagogical intentionality, the pedagogical relationship, and brain function in learning. The afternoon is reserved for eight practical workshops (Learning Laboratories), lasting 75 minutes each, in which participants can select two working themes, including Artificial Intelligence, Virtual and Augmented Reality, gamification, micro-credentials, digital experience design, and the pedagogical relationship. Participation grants a certificate and is recognised as a Short-Term Training Action for early childhood educators and basic, secondary, and special education teaching staff.
