Lecture "Sem idade para aprender" marks the European Day of Languages at ISMT

Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) organizes, on 25 September 2026, at 15:30, the lecture entitled "Sem idade para aprender". The session is part of the European Day of Languages celebrations and takes place at the institution's premises located at Rua Ferreira Borges, n.º 12, in Coimbra.

The initiative is led by Joana Marta Simões, Psychology lecturer at ISMT. The session focuses on a reasoned reflection regarding the processes associated with language learning throughout the various stages of life, addressing the cognitive aspects and the dynamics of acquiring new skills outside of childhood or youth.

The event is aimed at the student community and the general public. Participation in this lecture aims to foster continuous reflection on lifelong education, promoting debate around plurilingualism and the mental processes that accompany the continuous development of human beings.
