Password reset

For password reset or access problems in E-SCA – E-Serviços para o Cidadão Estudante, send an email to:

If you have forgotten your password or cannot access Moodle, Webmail or Secure-ISMT Wi- Fi, you must send an email to:

• h e l p d e s k - m o o d l e @ i s m t . p t

with the following data:

• Subject: Moodle password reset request
• Full name
• Student number at ISMT
• Course you are enrolled in

The Helpdesk will reset your password and send you new access credentials.

To change your password (students and staff):

• Access https://webmail.ismt.pt with your username and current password.
• Go to “Definições / Settings”, then “Password”.
• Fill in the fields as follows:
  • Current password: your current password
  • New password: your new password
  • Confirm password: repeat the new password

IMPORTANT: The new password must contain all of the following elements:

• a lowercase letter (a–z)
• an uppercase letter (A–Z)
• a number (0–9)
• a special character (! # % & @ { [ ] } + * . |) and must have at least 10 characters.

The new password will be valid for:

• Institutional email (Webmail) Moodle
• Secure-ISMT Wi-Fi
