ISMT signs collaboration protocols with Catarino Art Gallery and Victoria Art Gallery

The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga formalises partnerships within the arts sector to promote students' contact with the market and foster joint projects in the creative industries.

On the 19th of June, the Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) signed two collaboration protocols with the Catarino Art Gallery and the Victoria Art Gallery. The formalisation of this connection reinforces the institutional presence in the arts sector and consolidates the commitment to bridging academia and the professional contexts associated with the creative and cultural industries.

The signing of these protocols represents a step in ISMT's strategy of establishing partnerships that provide ISMT students with tangible opportunities to engage with the market. The dynamics now established aim to promote experiences that complement academic training and enhance the development of skills in real-world intervention contexts. Through these synergies, the goal is to build bridges between higher education and the arts sector, setting up the proper conditions for the realisation of joint projects and the dissemination of the work developed during the educational pathway.

The initial practical outcomes of this collaboration will materialise in July, with the opening of the "Alfabeto Digital" exhibition, entirely created by students from the ISMT Communication Design undergraduate degree. The exhibition will be open to the public at the Catarino Art Gallery, serving as a dissemination space to showcase the execution capacity and creative profile of the future professionals educated by the institution.
