On 16 May, the 2nd year students of the Social Work degree course at the Miguel Torga Higher Institute visited the Quinta da Conraria of the Cerebral Palsy Association of Coimbra

On 16 May, the 2nd year students of the Social Work degree at the Miguel Torga Higher Institute (ISMT) visited the Quinta da Conraria of the Cerebral Palsy Association of Coimbra (APCC), where they were able to see some of the social services, namely the Centre for Activities and Training for Inclusion (CACI), the Centre for Care, Accompaniment and Social Rehabilitation for People with Disabilities (CAARPD) and Vocational Training - VT.

The visit took place as part of the Contexts of Professional Intervention course, taught by Élia Costa, who is also a social worker at APCC. The visit allowed the students to learn about the practical experience of a social worker working in the field of (multi)disability, addressing issues such as intervention methodologies, professional ethics and the operationalisation of social and public policies.
