District of Coimbra hosts Public Procurement conference in partnership with ISMT

The Meeting Room of the Management Council of the District of Coimbra hosted a technical debate on public procurement issues.

On Wednesday, 4 March, a conference dedicated to the theme "Public Procurement: Associated Issues" was held. The event took place at the Meeting Room of the Management Council of the District of Coimbra and was jointly organised by the Regional Prosecutor General's Office of Coimbra, the Regional DIAP of Coimbra, the Public Ministry Coordination of the District of Coimbra, and the Coimbra School of the Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT).

The session, conducted in a hybrid format — both in-person and remote — featured a presentation by lecturer Daniela Sequeira, Master of Laws and coordinator of the Public Procurement area at the Coimbra School of ISMT. The intervention focused on analysing the main legal difficulties and challenges currently characterising public procurement procedures.

The meeting combined a high-quality technical presentation with direct dialogue between participants, enabling the clarification of various practical aspects related to the subject. This initiative highlights the importance of cooperation between ISMT and the Public Ministry structures in promoting the update of knowledge within the judicial and administrative sectors.
