The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) and APPACDM Coimbra have formalised, at the São Silvestre facilities, a collaboration protocol aimed at strengthening the links between higher education and social intervention. This institutional commitment focuses on creating synergies that enhance the development of both organisations and the wider community.

The established partnership ensures direct benefits for the academic journey of ISMT students by providing new internship opportunities in real-world work environments. This practical approach allows for the consolidation of technical and interpersonal skills, preparing future professionals for the specific demands of the labour market and social intervention.

At the same time, the protocol provides for the continuous professional development of APPACDM Coimbra staff.
