The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) today, 04 March, formalised a collaboration protocol with Associação Integrar. This agreement establishes a framework for mutual cooperation intended to bring the academic community closer to social and community intervention dynamics, creating practical responses that benefit both institutions and the Coimbra region.

The protocol outlines the development of various joint projects, with a particular focus on creating curricular and professional internship opportunities for ISMT students. Additionally, it will promote the implementation of volunteering programmes and the design of short specialised courses. These training programmes will be specifically aimed at early childhood educators and assistant technicians, ensuring a skills update aligned with the real needs of the social sector.

The partnership also includes a service provision component by Associação Integrar to ISMT. This collaborative model allows the association's users to participate in institutional initiatives as collaborators, reinforcing the pillars of inclusion and active community participation.
