Manuel Castelo Branco's intervention was part of the panel dedicated to the articulated role of the school, family, and territory in the education of new generations.

The President of the Board of Directors of the Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT), Manuel Castelo Branco, participated, on the 23rd of June, in the presentation conference of the Miranda Family Lab. This initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Miranda do Corvo, positions families as the central axis of public policies and sustained local development.

His intervention took place in the panel entitled "It takes a whole village to raise a child", moderated by Lara Serra, President of APAIS. The debate featured contributions from lecturers Susana Costa Ramalho, from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and Dina Soeiro, from the Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra (IPC). This public session focused on the articulated role of the school, family, community, and territory in the training and development of new generations, prompting a reflection on the contemporary challenges of education.

During the meeting, the need to adopt collaborative and inter-institutional approaches was underlined. ISMT's participation in this conference reflects the institution's connection to the dynamics of the region and reinforces its commitment to the production and dissemination of applied knowledge. Involvement in these initiatives contributes to the construction of concrete responses to the social, educational, and territorial challenges facing society and the academic community.
