The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga has released the latest edition of the RPICS/PJBSR, focused on the dissemination of studies in the Behavioural and Social Sciences.
The Research & Development Department of the Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) has published Vol. 12 No. 1 of the Portuguese Journal of Behavioral and Social Research (RPICS/PJBSR). This biannual scientific publication, based on an open-access and peer-review model, is dedicated to disseminating work within the Behavioural and Social Sciences and is now available for full online reading.
The new edition compiles ten articles, comprising original studies and review papers, which focus on fields such as psychology, social work, sociology, and health. The texts cover contemporary subjects, namely satisfaction and procrastination in higher education, the validation of scales regarding teleworking in Portugal, health literacy, student adaptation, and the application of psychology in wartime contexts. The edition reflects the scope of the journal by including contributions from researchers of various nationalities.
By adopting a diamond open-access policy, the RPICS/PJBSR ensures that there are no costs for readers, authors, or institutions. This strategy aims to eliminate financial barriers in the field of scientific research, promoting the sharing of multidisciplinary knowledge and facilitating the integration of new researchers into the academic community. The complete edition can be accessed via the journal's official portal.
