Reception of the President of the Republic of Cape Verde in Coimbra

ISMT was represented at the official reception of the President of the Republic of Cape Verde, José Maria Neves, in the city of Coimbra.

On 1 July, the city of Coimbra hosted the official visit of the President of the Republic of Cape Verde, José Maria Neves. The event marked the relationship between Portugal and the country, as well as the cooperation between institutions.

The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) was represented at this solemn session by the teaching staff member and President of the Pedagogical Council, Ilda Massano Cardoso. The session served to monitor the prospects for cooperation and dialogue between the nations.

During the visit, President José Maria Neves addressed the function of Coimbra's educational institutions in the training of students from Cape Verde. ISMT maintains its commitment as a learning space and knowledge-sharing centre for the Lusophone academic community.
