The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga announces the works awarded in the 2025 edition of the Research Prize.
The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) announces the results of the 2025 Research Prize. The first prize in this edition was awarded to the research titled “Validation Study of the Portuguese Version of the Walsh Family Resilience Questionnaire”. This article, published in the scientific journal Family Process, was authored by Joana Sequeira, Clara Lino, Gabriela Fonseca, and Henrique Testa Vicente.
During the evaluation process, the jury also decided to award an honourable mention. The work recognised with this distinction is titled “Social Media in the LGBTQ+ Community: Development and Validation Study of the Social Media Relevance Scale LGBTQ+”. The study, authored by Ana Galhardo, Ema Carvalho, Marina Cunha, and Ilda Massano-Cardoso, is published in the Journal of LGBTQ Issues in Counseling.
ISMT congratulates the distinguished authors. The institution recognises the scientific quality and relevance of these works, as well as their contribution to the research developed at the institution, the results of which continue to be actively shared with the student community and academia.
