The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) held the seminar "The contribution of the mediation category to the theoretical-methodological understanding of Social Work" on October 27th. The session was led by Reinaldo Pontes from the Universidade Federal do Pará (Brazil).
The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) held the seminar "The contribution of the mediation category to the theoretical-methodological understanding of Social Work" on October 27th. The session was led by Reinaldo Pontes from the Universidade Federal do Pará (Brazil).
The initiative was part of the "Methodologies and Strategies in Social Work" curricular unit of the 1st Cycle (Degree) in Social Work, and was coordinated by professor Sónia Ribeiro. The main objective was to present theoretical-methodological perspectives on the role of mediation in Social Work.
The activity provided students with a reflection on professional practices, as well as on tools for analysis and intervention in the field. The seminar was part of the course's pedagogical plan, reinforcing the link between academic training and professional practice in Social Work.
