ISMT Lecturer in the Ovar Literary Festival

The professor of the Portuguese Language Workshop of the 1st Cycle in Journalism at ISMT, Maria de Fátima Toscano, was present at the 11th edition of the Ovar Literary Festival

Professor Maria de Fátima Toscano, from the Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT), from the Portuguese Language Workshop UC of the Journalism Degree, was present on September 18th at the 11th edition of the Ovar Literary Festival, an event programmed by Carlos Nuno Granja and held at Escola de Artes e Ofícios de Ovar.

As a participant in Panel 3, dedicated to the theme “Literature is a process of liberation and, therefore, aspires to freedom” – a quotation by Fernando Namora – the lecturer shared the stage with Lília Tavares and Vítor Pinto Basto, under the moderation of Ana Maria Ferreira. The session promoted close dialogue between writers and readers, in an atmosphere of reflection, sharing and book signing.

The participation of ISMT lecturers in initiatives of this relevance reflects the Institution’s commitment to science, education and culture, reaffirming its solid and consistent role within the national and international academic and cultural landscape.
