Performance evaluation under debate at ISMT: from theory to practice

On 10 December 2024, between 2pm and 6pm, an open class entitled ‘Performance Evaluation: From Theory to Practice’ will be held at ISMT, with the participation of guest speaker Rui Vais. The event will take place in room 4 of ISMT's Polo B in Rua Bernardo de Albuquerque, nº4, and will be a unique opportunity to explore the dynamics of performance evaluation in the organisational context.

Rui Vais holds a master's degree in Organisational and Work Psychology from the University of Coimbra and has over 10 years' experience in consultancy and IT engineering. His vast experience includes the implementation of processes such as job analysis and description, performance appraisal, job evaluation and the promotion of gender equality. Rui Vais currently manages benefits, ensures performance appraisal processes and collaborates in the development and monitoring of organisational indicators related to leadership, culture, satisfaction and organisational climate.

This event, organised by lecturer Bruno Cordeiro, is part of the Performance Evaluation and Management curricular unit of the 3rd year of the 1st Cycle in Human Resources Management.

The open class will be free and is aimed at students and anyone interested in understanding the challenges and practices of performance evaluation in the professional sphere.
