On 3 December 2024, the Miguel Torga Higher Institute hosted an Open Class dedicated to the theme ‘Talent vs. Skills: What is the Key to Success in the Labour Market?’, with the participation of Sofia Oliveira as guest speaker.

The event was organised as part of the Transversal Competencies for Professional Excellence course, part of the Human Resources Management degree, and was coordinated by lecturer Bruno Cordeiro.

Sofia Oliveira led the session, giving the students a detailed analysis of the role of talent and competences in professional success. The reflection addressed issues such as the importance of identifying and developing personal and professional skills in today's competitive labour market.

This open class stood out for the relevance of the topic and the dynamic interaction between the participants, reinforcing ISMT's commitment to offering learning experiences that prepare students for the challenges of the labour world.
