On 10 December, the Miguel Torga Higher Institute is holding an open class on ‘Performance Evaluation: From Theory to Practice’, as part of the Performance Evaluation and Management course in the 3rd year of the 1st Cycle in Human Resources Management.
The event, organised by lecturer Bruno Cordeiro, will feature an intervention by Rui Vais, a human resources professional. Rui Vais, who holds a master's degree in Organisational and Work Psychology from the University of Coimbra, has over a decade's experience in consultancy and IT engineering.
Throughout his professional career, Rui Vais has implemented fundamental processes in human resources management, namely job analysis and description, performance appraisal, job evaluation and the promotion of gender equality. He currently works on benefits management, performance evaluation and monitoring organisational indicators in areas such as leadership, culture, satisfaction and organisational climate.
The open class will take place on 10 December, between 2pm and 6pm, in Room 4 of ISMT Campus B, located at Rua Bernardo de Albuquerque, nº4, in Coimbra. Participation is free and open to students, professionals and those interested in human resources.
This event represents a unique opportunity for participants to deepen their knowledge of performance evaluation, establishing an essential bridge between academic theory and professional practice.
