Ethics Committee
The Ethics Committee (EC) is an independent body within the Research & Development Department (EC–R&D) of the Instituto Superior Miguel Torga, whose mission is to promote the highest standards of scientific integrity and to give due consideration to the ethical issues arising from scientific activity.
Accordingly, in the ethical review of studies, the Committee strives to protect the rights, dignity, safety, and well-being of all actual and potential participants.
