On 19 September, at 18:00, the Casa das Artes in Penacova will host a conversation with Rui Brites under the theme “The (Un)Happy Portuguese – Why are some Portuguese people happier than others?”
Rui Brites holds a PhD in Sociology and is a university professor and researcher, focusing his work on happiness, subjective well-being, values, social classes, and education.
The initiative is organised by the Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT), in partnership with the Intermunicipal Community of the Coimbra Region (CIM-RC) and the Penacova Municipality.
