Students (email, Moodle and Wi-Fi)


When you enroll at ISMT, you will receive a message at your personal email address with your initial access credentials:

For students:

  • Username: Your ISMT student number.

  • Password: The temporary password sent in the initial email.

  • IMPORTANT: Access to the Secure-ISMT Wi-Fi network is only activated after changing your initial password via Webmail.

Teachers and staff

Teachers and staff receive their institutional email account and initial password from ISMT’s administrative/IT services.
For teachers/staff:

  • Email: f i r s t n a m e l a s t n a m e @ i s m t . p t
  • Wi-Fi username: the part before “@ismt.pt” of your institutional email
    • Example: for d o c e n t e @ i s m t . p t, the Wi-Fi username is docente
  • Password: the same password used for institutional email
