On 4 May, at 6 pm, the Almedina Bookshop, located at the Estádio Cidade de Coimbra, will host the presentation of the book "Quase uma Vida - um olhar sobre os grandes temas do Direito e da Economia", authored by Eduardo Paz Ferreira. The event is supported by ISMT, reinforcing the institution's commitment to scientific debate and cultural dissemination within the city.

The work offers an in-depth perspective on the intersections between the legal system and economic reality, fundamental areas for understanding current social structures. Drawing on the author’s extensive experience, the book proposes a reflection on the challenges and evolution of these two pillars of knowledge over recent decades.

The presentation will be conducted by João Calvão da Silva, Vice-Rector of the University of Coimbra, and Manuel Castelo Branco, President of ISMT. The session represents an opportunity for the academic community and the general public to engage in a debate on themes that shape the functioning of institutions and civil society.
