ISMT and APPDA de Coimbra host a public session on cerebral palsy
The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT), in partnership with APPDA de Coimbra, is organising a public session on "Cerebral Palsy". The initiative, which is the third session of the "Vamos falar de..." debate cycle, is scheduled for 19 May at 5:30 pm and will take place in Room 1 at Rua Gomes Freire, 4.
The programme includes presentations by three guests. Vânia Rosa, a lecturer in Social Work at ISMT and technical director of AFSD - Centro Cavalo Azul, will present the communication "Between Losses and Discoveries: Another Lens on Cerebral Palsy". Alda Matos, a lecturer at ESEC and vice-president of the Department of Education, Sport and Social Intervention, will address the theme "Beyond Cerebral Palsy". Finally, Cristina Soutinho, technical director of CRPCC and board member of APCC, will focus her intervention on "The Challenge of Diversity".
This debate aims to promote reflection and the sharing of perspectives on inclusion in society. Participation in this session is open to the entire academic community and the general public.
