The 3rd year students of the Journalism course at the Miguel Torga Higher Institute (ISMT), as part of the Television Journalism Laboratory course, visited the RTP Coimbra office last Monday morning, 2nd December 2024.
The 3rd year students of the Journalism course at the Miguel Torga Higher Institute (ISMT), as part of the Television Journalism Laboratory course, visited the RTP Coimbra office last Monday morning, 2nd December 2024.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to take a closer look at RTP's facilities, including the radio and television studios, and to follow various stages of the journalistic process. Among the activities observed were interviews, editing processes and preparing the line-up for the daily ‘Portugal em Direto’ programme.
This experience allowed future journalists to better understand the dynamics of working in a real newsroom environment, complementing the theoretical learning acquired in the classroom.
The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga and its staff would like to thank the journalists and technicians from RTP Coimbra for their welcome and willingness to share their knowledge and experience, making this visit a particularly enriching moment for the students.
