Alunos do ISMT entregam bens ao Centro de Apoio ao Sem-Abrigo (CASA)

As part of the 'Ethics and Social Responsibility of Organizations' curricular unit, the students of the Miguel Torga Higher Institute (ISMT) carried out a solidarity action that culminated in the delivery of goods to the Homeless Support Centre (CASA). The delivery took place last Monday, December 16th.

This initiative, aimed at promoting values such as solidarity and social responsibility, involved the collection of essential goods, including food, clothing and personal hygiene products, to support people in vulnerable situations. The active participation of the students demonstrates their commitment to social issues, helping to minimize the difficulties faced by the most fragile communities.

The collaboration with CASA reinforces the importance of partnerships between educational institutions and social support organizations, creating opportunities for students to apply the knowledge they have acquired in a practical way and with a direct impact on society. This gesture of solidarity is part of ISMT's mission to train professionals who are aware of and committed to collective well-being.

The moment when the goods were handed over was marked by a spirit of unity and the sharing of messages of hope and resilience, reflecting the greater purpose of this action: to support those who need it most and to raise awareness of the importance of social responsibility.

This initiative shows that small gestures can bring about big changes in the lives of many.
