ISMT and A Previdência Portuguesa formalise strategic partnership protocol
The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) formalised, on 16 March 2026, the signing of a partnership protocol with A Previdência Portuguesa. This national organisation, headquartered in Coimbra, has now established a structured institutional relationship with ISMT aimed at promoting mutual benefits and driving projects of common interest.
The agreement reflects a shared commitment between both institutions regarding social well-being and the enhancement of the communities in which they operate. Through this cooperation, the goal is to strengthen the fundamental link between higher education and organisations with a strong social intervention, creating communication channels and joint efforts that benefit both the student body and the members of the aforementioned entity.
Within the operational scope of the partnership, the design of specific training programmes developed in conjunction with the institution's teaching staff and A Previdência Portuguesa’s technicians is planned. These initiatives will have a particular focus on strategic areas for citizenship and social sustainability, notably financial literacy and the concept of mutualism, thereby consolidating a capacity-building network with a direct impact on the region.
