ISMT and AESL hold a Family Business Colloquium in Lousã

The Instituto Superior Miguel Torga (ISMT) and the Associação Empresarial Serra da Lousã (AESL) held the Family Business Colloquium on 22 April. Under the theme "Family businesses: relaxing the myth", the session took place at the Museu Etnográfico Dr. Lousã Henriques and was attended by approximately fifty participants.

The programme was divided into two complementary parts, dedicated to reflection and training on family business management. The morning period included a training component on current legal aspects, led by Daniela Sequeira and Eulália Dias Cravo.

During the afternoon, a conversation took place with the presentation of practical testimonies from the business sector. Ana Grade (Fresbeira), José Aniceto and Catarina Aniceto (José Aniceto e Irmão, Lda.), and José Carranca Redondo (Casa Redondo) addressed strategies, generational challenges, and structural continuity factors. The initiative promoted sharing between academia and the business sector, aiming at the qualification of the territory and the consolidation of the local economic ecosystem.
