Instituto Superior Miguel Torga attended the Women's National Basketball Team - Women's EuroBasket Qualifiers, at the invitation of the Coimbra Basketball Association. ISMT was represented by Professor Laura Lemos, lecturer and coordinator of the Psychology Degree and the Psychology Laboratory.
Instituto Superior Miguel Torga attended the Women's National Basketball Team - Women's EuroBasket Qualifiers, at the invitation of the Coimbra Basketball Association. ISMT was represented by Professor Laura Lemos, lecturer and coordinator of the Psychology Degree and the Psychology Laboratory.
The matches took place at the Mário Mexia Multisports Pavilion, with Portugal facing Ukraine on Thursday 6 February and Serbia on Sunday 9 February. In the decisive game, the national team beat Serbia 57-40 to secure qualification for the European Championship for the first time in their history.
The ISMT congratulates the Portuguese team on this remarkable achievement and thanks the Coimbra Basketball Association for the invitation to accompany this historic moment in national sport.
