Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit aims to develop skills in editing techniques, visual effects and post-production, with the purpose of interpreting and developing audiovisual content.
It is also intended that the student has capacity for analysis and critical reflection.
To this end, the main terminologies and concepts of film language will be addressed, both at the level of narrative construction and at the level of principles and practices. editing an audiovisual work.
The student will also assimilate the basic and theoretical notions of digital video editing.
In parallel, the main visual effects techniques will be explained and demonstrated using nonlinear editing software.
From the consolidation of these concepts and techniques, it is intended that the student can enhance their creativity, in order to design and implement audiovisual content, using video editing applications.
