Learning Outcomes

At the end of the Course, the student should be able to:

  • identify and describe some Anglophone countries/cultures;
  • read, listen to, and understand authentic texts published by the Anglo- Saxon press and other information outlets or means of communication;
  • accurately identify and use specific terminology;
  • analyse and interpret business documents, collecting specific information;
  • prepare business correspondence and academic papers with linguistic accuracy and using a proper register and format;
  • make structured and linguistically accurate oral presentations;
  • write a CV and a letter of application;
simulate a structured job interview with linguistic accuracy and using a proper register.
