The Miguel Torga Higher Institute (ISMT) was represented by lecturer Manuel Menezes, who took part in Panel II “Social Responses in the Territory”. The debate focused on the panorama of material deprivation in Coimbra, exploring the main difficulties faced by vulnerable families and the social responses available to support these communities. Manuel Menezes' intervention highlighted the role of civil society organizations in combating material deprivation and promoting sustainable solutions.
The panel also included Maria Cristina Fernandes Pinho, Technical Director of Casa dos Pobres de Coimbra, Natacha Santos, Technical Director of Comunidade Juvenil São Francisco de Assis, and Cátia Mariano, Clinical Director of CASPAE's Clinical Office.
