Learning Outcomes

 

The objective of this academic unit is to equip students with the essential skills required to generate, conceptualize, create, edit, and efficiently market audiovisual projects, thereby preparing them to tackle the demands of the film industry.

Study Program

  1. Cinematographic Concepts:

Cinematic genres and their characteristics.

Team Members for a Film Production.

Structures of Cinematic Narrative.

Shot, cut, scene, sequence, and take.

 

  1. Pre-Production:

Research and development for audiovisual projects.

Narrative structure and details in scriptwriting.

Art design, storyboarding, and study of recording locations.

Pre-production logistics, including casting, risks, scheduling, and budgeting.

Plot.

 

  1. Production:

Audiovisual equipment and its functions: cameras, lenses, tripods, sliders, skates, cranes, image stabilizers.

Technical concepts: frames per second, image exposure, lighting.

 

  1. Post-Production:

Video editing techniques.

Transitions: Video and audio editing.

Color grading.

 

  1. Promotion and Distribution:

Creation of promotional materials, such as posters and trailers.

Festival promotion strategies and understanding of audiovisual distribution processes.
